Mr. Cartoon, an afternoon children’s cartoon program, aired on NBC Affiliate WSAZ for decades. Jule Huffman, a.k.a. Mr. Cartoon, made a visit to Spencer during the 1984 West Virginia Black Walnut Festival along with his sidekick Beeper. Take a look back as Mr. Cartoon and Beeper interview local children at the Trader’s Bank parking lot, which is now People’s Bank in downtown Spencer.
