At one time Spencer had two thriving new and used car dealerships. While there were other vehicle dealerships in the area there were only two in the area that dealt in new and used cars. The first was Denbigh-Garrett which was later changed to Jack Garrett Ford which is still in operation today, and Tom Parrill Chevrolet.
Tom Parrill’s Dealership was the go to place for new and used Chevrolet, Geo, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge vehicles. The dealership was eventually sold and the name was changed to Spencer Auto Group.
Spencer Auto Group shut down and the property was eventually sold and is now home to Craig Motors.
